I'm a designer and creative thinker with a deep interest in designing delightful user experiences and turning broad problems into simple, user-friendly solutions. I studied Interaction Design at School of Visual Arts in New York, and have been working as a UX designer in tech companies for 3 years. My experience in start-ups and a dynamic, rapidly growing environment allows me to collaborate with cross-functional departments efficiently and specialized in using UX methods in all stages of design to push forward the decision-making process.

The Multimodal Interaction Design for “Tencent Mr. Homework”

Mr. Homework is an AI educational product that implemented in a desk lamp. As the main role of interaction designer in this project, I brought the design of this digital product from concept to launch. Structured the multimodal interactive system from zero to one.

As a Product Design Intern at Facebook, I was with the local discovery team working on Recommendations. During the 12 weeks internship, I executed design projects on building new interactive tools and experience to motivate people to leave helpful recommendations.

FIN-TECH INNOVATION

A Bill Payment Credit Program for Unbanked Millennials 

This is a project supported by JPMorgan Chase. Chase Digital sought to discover and serve the needs of unbanked Millennials whose behaviors defy historic banking use cases. I worked with two teammates on the challenge. Our solution enables users to gain long-term benefit without changing daily behaviors. The solution also won the 2017 Top Solution Award, SVA IXD.

Empower NYC Produce Street Vendors

This is a service design project supported by SVA IXD Department and Marshall SittenWe aim to provide solutions to help Produce Street Vendors in NYC strive in their business. We collaborated with the food produce stand located on the corner of 22nd Street and 6th Avenue in Manhattan, and Provided the vendors the tools and effective design solutions.

A Hand Gesture Interactive Game Made by Arduino

This is my solo project for the class “Physical Computing” at School of Visual Arts. The concept for doing this is to bring the old-fashioned class-break game to the digital world. This was my first time design a game and learn programing. I got so much fun and struggle at the same time. The result turned out made me proud of myself.
